The Most Asked Question
So the most frequently asked question about the Six Flags Trip is, "CAN I COME?!/CAN MY FRIEND COME?!"
I don't mind answering these questions, but it's so repetitive it's driving me crazy. YES YOU/YOUR FRIEND CAN COME! So if you want a friend to come, just tell them to ask me for extra slips.
And since I left the slips at home for 2 DAYS IN A ROW, I will EXTEND the due dates to May 4th! So that means, you have the vacation AND a few extra days (and 1 weekend) to think about it.
About the chaperones: The dates have NOT changed! If your parent wants to chaperone, please tell me by April 29th! After that date, I will not be accepting anymore chaperones. We have limited space!
The second most asked question is: What happens if it rains?
If it rains the trip will be cancelled/postponed. You can either get a full refund or get your ticket (Usable until October!) If the trip is cancelled and you still want to go as a group, we will issue out the new date.

Update on Class823Source Trip to Six Flags!!!
Since a lot of people do not know how to get to Port Authority, I will be leading a group of people there. If you do now know how to get there, please meet me in the Russell Sage school yard (where the benches are) on the day of the trip (May 25th). Please be there by 7:00 AM. I will not be waiting for ANYONE! I suggest you get there earlier than 7:00.
PLEASE BRING YOUR METROCARDS! AND EXTRA MONEY! We are not responsible if you loose ANYTHING!
Remember, this is for the people who do not have any idea how to get there! You can also look up the directions (which you SHOULD do). I can not have any delays.
Although the permission slips say 8:30, there will be possibility of the times changing (based on subway traffic). Why is it so early? It's because we want to get everyone in one place to sort out any problems and put people into buddy groups. There will be a chance of getting split up, so STAY TOGETHER!
We will continue to update as much as we can, so PLEASE check daily!

Spanish Menu Project
Spanish
Imagine that you are about to open your own new restaurant in a premier location. You must design an attractive menu featuring a wide variety of foods for many tastes.
Have an idea of what you would like your restaurant to look like, so that you can give a description of it before you can present your menu to the class.
Preparation:
Visit a restuarant in your area and ask for copies of their menus.
Research different spanish foods from different countries.
Decide a name for your restaurant.
Create a paragraph describing the interior and exterior of your restaurant. You may want to include a reduce-size sketch of your restaurant to include in your menu.
Choose items that you will feature in your menu.
Come up with prices for all items on your menu.
Present your menu to the class.
Materials:
Construction Paper, Internet Access, Paper, and Markers

Band
Also if you are in band, dress up nicely and get to school at 6:30 PM. We will be performing at approximatly 7:00 PM. We aren't going to be sitting down and there probably won't be risers so find a position that is comfortable for you. Also make sure that you can see the conductor, Ms. Monroe. You only have to bring "Windemere". Don't bring the whole folder up to the stage. The whole performance is going to be about 5 minutes. Then we might stay their to have some snacks.
Class 823 Sponsored Trip!
We've actually been thinking of the class trip for a while now (proof in earlier post). See the ORIGINAL plan was a class picnic in either Juniper Valley or Central Park (but unfortunately, the"idea" has been disclosed). And I know some people will be claiming to be copying the 821vs822 3 day trip (yeah it's sorta true), and most people will be saying we're copying certain classmates "ideas" of the Manhattan Trip (we have proof in our archives.) And no, we're not saying we're being copied, these are actually peoples opinions.
If you don't believe us, click here: (it's not a prank)
http://class823source.blogspot.com/2009/03/just-idea.html
So we've been playing around with our ideas. We picked what seemed logical. Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. If we buy the tickets in bulk, we'll be able to save money. Unfortunately, the portion to the money will have to come out of you. But first we need to know how many people will be able to come or else the prices will be left unknown. So please tell us in advance, because first come, first serve. Please comment below if you'll be able to come.
The trip might be in May. I'm not exactly sure about the date, probably on Memorial Day.
Transportation: Port Authority Bus Terminal (we're taking a shuttle bus, bus rentals are expensive)
Some other information: http://www.sixflags.com/greatAdventure/groups/reunions.aspx
THE OFFICIAL PRICE IS $30! (with the admissions and transpiration)
The prices might change.
IMPORTANT! THE PRICES ARE NOW $50 EACH PERSON!
