2/11/09 - Homework

S.S. - Read pgs. 662-665 # 1-5, Do over diagram

ELA - Final text draft due Monday!

Sci - Bring in your lab books tomorrow and dress appropriately for squid disections! For girls (and Josh), bring in a scrunchie or clip!

Math - Red Book 5-7 & 5-8 & -9

The 8th grade band is having a performance TONIGHT!!!!!!! It starts at 6:00PM. If you are going to a Specialized High School Open House today, go to the open house (Specialized High Schools ONLY!). If you aren't able to go because of the HS Open Houses, you're excused.

For people attending (band people): You must wear an appropriate attire. White button up shirt and dark/black pants/skirt. Be sure to wear black dress shoes! NO SNEAKERS!!!!! If you don't dress appropriately, you will be pulled from the performance. (Practice your music! Gates of Orion and Windemere!!!!)

Reminder! The bake sale is TOMORROW! Bring in stuff (cake, chips, cookies, etc) and get 5 points on a quiz (depends on how much you bring). Remember to bring in money if you plan on buying!

What and who are we?

We're a bunch of students from 823, who want to give you not just homework, but a source to make life easier. We run on our own system, not tied with other sites.

Homework is posted no later than 4:30 PM, giving you the best we can. We try to fix errors as soon as possible, and update multiple times a day. There's always a posibility of charts or fixes/side notes added as the day goes on, so stay tuned! Our only source is what we copy in class. Our combined notes are for your benefit.

Our site is not copyrighted (its costs us $$$ for that!), but we'd appreciate it if you do not copy. It's our time and patience used for this site, not for the use of a copier. Plus... it's ethically wrong to copy!
(P.S. Owning something doesn't mean it's copyrighted, you can't sue anyone for making something better. We do not copy off other websites. So if you decide to complain to us for copying, you need proof you own a copyright, that you PAID YOUR MONEY FOR IT! Not some "statement". We know our rights. We have our freedom of speech.)

Overall, we care about the 823 community. We want to add on to this site, to create something bigger and better than expected. So please, leave comments! We love suggestions and complements! We do not delete comments from other users, we are 100% 823. Our actions here are not based on opinions. We don't delete because we don't like something. Unbiased. REAL!
