2/10/09 - Homework

Sorry for posting late, we had some technical difficulties!

ELA - Write a conclusion for your JFA, and if you already have a closing, reread and edit it . 2nd draft and complete layout due Friday.

Math - Pg 397 #21-32,33,34

S.S - Do over diagram

Example: (Some people asked about it. DO NOT USE IT!!! IT'S MY HOMEWORK!!!!!!)

Spanish use today or yesterday's vocabularies and Me, Te, Se to make sentences.

Yo - me 4 sentences
Tu - te 4 sentences
el/ella/ud. - se 8 sentences
YOU MUST HAVE 16 SENTENCES , AND ONLY 16 SENTENCES.

Example:
Me ducho todos los días. - i shower myself every day

Vocabulary (for the HW):
despertarse - to wake up
levantarse - to lift
ducharse/bañarse - to shower
cepillarse los dientes - to brush your teeth
afeirar(se) - to shave
peinar(se) - to comb

pintarse - to paint (puon makeup)

cortar(se) - to cut (hair, nails, to cut oneself)

The 8th grade band is having a performance on 2/11 TOMORROW!!! Be sure to mark your calenders if you feel like going. It starts at 6:00PM. If you are going to a Specialized High School Open House on the day of the concert (2/11), go to the open house (Specialized High Schools ONLY!). If you aren't able to go because of the HS Open Houses, you're excused.

To people in Band: There's a chance we'll have band rehersals during 3rd period (gym), and another period (unknown at the moment, possibly4th?).
For people attending (band people): You must wear an appropriate attire. White button up shirt and dark/black pants/skirt. Be sure to wear black dress shoes! NO SNEAKERS!!!!! If you don't dress appropriately, you will be pulled from the performance. (Practice your music! Gates of Orion and Windemere!!!!)

You actually can delete comments on blogspot (I'll send you a screenie if you want). And yeah, the whole copyright thing on their site is not very...yeah. :/ and lol I'm not paying money for a copyright. You have to sign up for a copyright at copyright.gov
(P.S. Don't post HW lister stuff here!)
P.P.S. yeah remember what she put in way back then when the site first started? something about sueing someone for "stealing her idea"? Yeah, I don't really think anyone can sue a person by having the same idea/concept.

What and who are we?

We're a bunch of students from 823, who want to give you not just homework, but a source to make life easier. We run on our own system, not tied with other sites.

Homework is posted no later than 4:30 PM, giving you the best we can. We try to fix errors as soon as possible, and update multiple times a day. There's always a posibility of charts or fixes/side notes added as the day goes on, so stay tuned! Our only source is what we copy in class. Our combined notes are for your benefit.

Our site is not copyrighted (its costs us $$$ for that!), but we'd appreciate it if you do not copy. It's our time and patience used for this site, not for the use of a copier. Plus... it's ethically wrong to copy!
(P.S. Owning something doesn't mean it's copyrighted, you can't sue anyone for making something better. We do not copy off other websites. So if you decide to complain to us for copying, you need proof you own a copyright, that you PAID YOUR MONEY FOR IT! Not some "statement". We know our rights. We have our freedom of speech.)

Overall, we care about the 823 community. We want to add on to this site, to create something bigger and better than expected. So please, leave comments! We love suggestions and complements!
